Lindsay "Bones" Cordero
Lindsay “Bones” Cordero is currently an officer in the United States Air Force and graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy where she got an education in absolutely nothing art related.
Self-trained and self-representing, Bones is an emerging artist working on writing and illustrating children’s books, launching collections of artwork to encourage mental health, and going on art adventures in National Parks to support conservation.
In 2021 she collaborated with the brand ICONI, where her artwork was incorporated on athletic-wear in the BONES x ICONI collection. Her children’s book illustrations were shown from 2020-2021 in the Northwest Louisiana Critical Mass 8 and 9 Exhibitions. In 2019 her paintings on mental health were reported on and shared by the Air Force, continuing the normalization of discussing mental health in the military.
Bones resides wherever the Air Force tells her to, which currently happens to be Louisiana.
